1. Post on discussion forum (40%)

Post a message addressing the following:

Introduce yourself. Mention what you are studying, and what your long-term goals are.
What do you hope to learn from this course?
What is your prior exposure to statistics?
Do you know any computer (or statistical) programming language? If so, name the languages and your level of fluency (novice / intermediate / expert).

2. Verify Stata installation (40%)

Paste the welcome message when you start Stata. For example, mine looks like this. Use a typewriter font such as Courier so that the output aligns nicely.
